Estates Agents (London, Leeds & Manchester)

We are seeking to recruit experienced full-time and conscientious real estates letting agents who would like to further their careers in our Company. The ideal candidates will work from London, Leeds and Manchester, reporting directly to the Head of the Company. There are scopes for career fulfilment and advancement.

Our Facilities Management Division deals primarily in the letting and management of residential and commercial properties for landlords.

The ideal candidates, strong relationship builders and self-starters, with additional administration staff, will liaise with landlords, lawyers and other professionals to negotiate lettings on residential and commercial properties.

 

The role:

This is a full-time permanent position.

 

Qualifications:

Good level of education.

Ability to participate in continuous professional development (CPD).

Expected to dress smartly.

Full driving licence is extremely helpful.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package.

 

Required skills:

Business Development; Lettings & Management; Negotiation; Team Player; Brokerage and Regulations; Multi-Lingua.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Collect information about a property and arrange for photographs to be taken.

Visit and talk to landlords about their properties and its special features.

Estimate the rental value of properties.

Market and promote properties for rental.

Represent the landlords in negotiation with prospective tenants.

Advise landlords and help tenants decide where and what they want to rent.

Make sure that the rent agreed is acceptable to both landlords and tenants.

Keep up to date with trends in the relevant property market.

Vet prospective tenants by collecting references and doing credit checks.

Ensure properties meet legal, health and safety requirements.

Draw up tenancy agreements.

Collect and/or organise rent payments.

Negotiation and persuasion to win clients and succeed with deals.

Confident and outgoing manner to gain trust and give reassurance.

Commercial awareness and the ability to achieve sales targets.

Excellent communication skills for liaising with professional contacts.

Customer service focus to keep clients happy.

Determination, perseverance and patience.

Understanding of marketing techniques to help market the properties.

Have a good network of contacts with whom new businesses can be developed

The ability to identify new opportunities with existing clients and develop new clients to generate additional businesses.

 

Salary: We offer generous remuneration package, subject to experience and qualifications (equity growth and stock options available).
